Acclaim is a long-lasting environmental household flea spray. It contains two active ingredients; one to kill adult fleas (for at least 6 weeks) and a second to prevent existing eggs and larvae from developing into adult fleas for 12 months. One can of Acclaim covers 175 m2, the largest area of any veterinary environmental flea treatment (the equivalent of an average four-bedroom house)

Acclaim is also odour-free, leaving no lingering smell after spraying. When used as directed Acclaim is safe for your family, your home and your pets.
Acclaim is licensed to kill house-dust mites, a common cause of allergy in pets. The product also kills ants, cockroaches, ticks and spiders.

Active ingredient

Methoprene (long lasting insect growth regulator) and permethrin (fast acting adulticide that kills fleas)

Read and follow the can instructions carefully
Remove all pets and children from the room being treated. Vacuum thoroughly. Close all windows and doors and spray all carpets, exposed floor boards, soft furnishings and cracks and crevices with a sweeping action holding the can at knee height. Leave the product to settle for about 30 minutes before airing the room. Pets and children may return as soon as surfaces are dry to the touch, usually 30 minutes. Regular vacuuming will encourage maximum hatch of the immature stages, ensuring rapid control.
