Product Information

Beaphar Flea Repellent Collar for Cats is a soft fabric flea collar that slowly releases active ingredient for up to 4 weeks to repel fleas quickly and effectively. Contains Margosa, an extract of the Neem tree, which is noted for being full of natural insect repellents. For cats over 12 weeks of age.

Recommended for

Cats over 12 weeks of age

Ingredients

Margosa, an extract of the Neem tree.

Instructions

Carefully remove the collar and the tube from the blister. Retain the card for future reference. Fit the collar around your cat¿s neck to determine if you need to shorten it. A correct fit is tight enough to fit snugly around the neck (too loose and your cat may try to get it off and get a leg or tooth caught), but loose enough to enable you to insert two fingers between the collar and the neck.

If the collar is too long, cut the spare piece off with scissors and throw away in the domestic rubbish. Remove the collar from your cat to enable you to now add the contents of the tube to its inner surface. Carefully open the tube and gently squeeze out the contents, applying as evenly as possible along the central part of the white side of the collar. Refit the collar around your cat's neck.

Fit a new Flea Repellent Collar every four weeks for continued protection.

If your cat gets very wet, it may be necessary to re-apply sooner.

It is safe to re-apply the treatment after seven days.

Safety Advice

Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. For animal use only. For use on cats and kittens over 12 weeks of age only. Do not use on sick or convalescing cats, pregnant or lactating mother cats or kittens under 12 weeks of age. Do not use any other flea control products on your cat during the four week protection period. Do not reapply in the seven days immediately after the first day of application. Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after use, and before meals. After use, examine your cat's neck periodically as occasionally a sensitive animal may experience localised irritation. Should this happen, remove the collar and bathe the area with a mild, non-insecticidal shampoo. If symptoms persist or your cat becomes unwell, consult a veterinary surgeon, taking the backing card with you.
