Hills Prescription Diet k/d, available from VioVet, has been formulated for dogs with reduced kidney function and progressive kidney (or renal) disease. The unique formulation contains reduced levels of biological protein to reduce over-exertion of the kidneys, as well as increased levels of water soluble vitamins and minerals.
