Easy to clean
Angled 'ladder' perches give feeding access to a wide variety of bird species
LokTop system locks the lid closed so that feed is kept drier and safe from predators. Rotate the hanger to the back to unlock, move to the up-right position or fully forward to lock.
The top of the feeder can only be opened when the wire hanger is rotated completely over to the back (lid hinge) side of the feeder.
Remove the perches from inside the feeder tube and push them into the holes at the bottom of the feeder ports.
Fill the feeder with seed. Snap the lid fully shut and rotate the wire hanger either into the upright position or fully forward to lock the lid.
Site your feeder away from any bushes etc. where predators might hide.
It is important to clean your feeder regularly. Open the lid of the feeder and unscrew the central pin, the top, base and feed tube can then be separated for cleaning using a suitable disinfectant.
Rinse and thoroughly dry before re-assembling which is the reverse of the disassembly.
Note: There are small notches in the top and bottom of the feed tube which need to be aligned with corresponding lobes in the base and top, rotate the feed tube until you feel it is located correctly on the lobes.
Do not over tighten the central pin.
When cleaning your feeder wear rubber gloves and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
Whilst filling the feeder there may be some spillage from the seed ports, this can be minimised by pouring the feed in quickly
