How to clean

Clean bird box between October and January when birds have finished breeding.

To open the box if you are using one of the round entrance holes, remove the screws from the upper front panel to gain access to the box.

Remove old nesting materials from inside and wash thoroughly with hot water.

Please note that this bird box has a base to allow for drainage. Make sure that the triangular holes in the corners of the box are clear to allow water to escape easily.

To change the entrance hole

Open fronted: remove the upper front panel by removing both screws.

Large entrance: use the nest box as supplied

Medium entrance: push the medium entrance hole into the large entrance hole which is already fitted.

Small entrance: fit the medium entrance hole as noted above and then push the small entrance hole into the medium hole.
