Product Information

Bathing sand is essential for some small animals and a nice treat for others, such as hamsters and gerbils.

Our Bathing Sand is 100% natural sand and is totally dust free and free from bacteria. It is also naturally absorbent. It is the choice of many owners of show chinchillas for ideal coat condition.

Chinchillas should have a sand bath every day. Place bathing sand into a high-sided box or cat litter tray and let your Chinchillas roll around in it. They will thoroughly enjoy themselves and the sand will help keep their coats healthy by removing excess oils.

Chinchillas and degus can use the tube container as a fun hay container when empty.

Gerbils and hamsters may also like to use the empty tube to play/run in - better than the balls they run around in, as their feet don't get caught and they can make their own choice when they want to get out!
