VELOXA XL is a broad spectrum dewormer which is effective against all common internal worms in dogs; tapeworm, roundworm, hookworm and whipworm.

Instructions

  • Deworming frequency:
  • Veterinary experts recommend deworming dogs at least every 3 months. However, more frequent treatment may be recommended depending on the dog’s age and lifestyle:
  • for dogs living with children, pregnant women and older people – deworm monthly
  • for weaned puppies up to six months of age – deworm monthly
  • for a dog that has had a flea infestation – treat for tapeworms

Dosage Guide

  • Dose: Give one tablet orally per 35 kg bodyweight. For dogs weighing less than 17.5 kg VELOXA for small and medium dogs should be used. 

  • For large dogs:
  • 17.5 kg = 1/2 (half) tablet
  • > 17.5 kg to 35 kg = 1 tablet
  • > 35 kg to 52.5 kg = 1.5 tablets
  • > 52.5 kg to 70 kg = 2 tablets

  • It is important to weigh your dog to ensure they recieve the optimum dose for which VELOXA XL has been show to be safe and effective.
  • One tablet contains: febantel 525mg, pyrantel embonate 504mg, praziquantel 175mg.

Safety Advice

  • The product may be used during lactation.
  • Do not use on pregnant bitches.
  • Wash your hands after administration.
